This series follows workers of ‘a certain age’ (50-65 yrs old) who want to keep working. Each programme follows an older candidate in their bid to break back into the industry in which they once worked, pitted against a fresh faced younger candidate, looking for that all important first break.
In each show two new contenders go head to head for 4 weeks, they're on trial, working in real businesses. Up for grabs is a job for just one of them, and the manager’s decision is final.
