WHATEVER IT TAKES The former EastEnders actor plays JJ Merrick, a ruthless, Svengali-like publicity agent in this drama following the plight of young police officer Daisy Cockram, who is catapulted into the spotlight following a fling with a Premiership footballer.

Merrick persuades Cockram to go into the world of glamour modelling and she rapidly becomes a millionaire, with a lifestyle and soap-star boyfriend to match. However, her fame is hard to sustain as the media's attention turns elsewhere. After she is rejected by her family and finds out her boyfriend is only with her as a publicity stunt, Cockram goes to dramatic lengths to propel herself onto the front pages again.
