SPECIAL NEEDS PETS Exploring the industry that caters to disabled animals, the dilemmas faced by pet owners whose animals become disabled as well as looking at the lengths that both pet and owner go to cope with the changing circumstances. We also take a look at the science and cutting edge technology and wide range of complementary therapies used to care for and prolong the lives of disabled animals both in the UK and abroad, and the morals and ethics involved in caring for disabled pets.

The end result is a film which is both warm and affectionate, light hearted, quirky, moving, passionate, serious and also takes an informative look at what life is like with a special needs pet.
