BRAT CAMP
Our International Emmy award-winning series
Brat Camp
(third season) - zero tolerance in the American wilderness - it's 'Girls Only' this time, and it's better than ever!
What do you do if your teenage kids are rude, abusive, on drugs and out of control?
Desperate families - each struggling with this very conundrum - packed off their teenage children to leading wilderness therapy camps in Utah for three months to find an answer. The kids live outdoors in a tough regime of no swearing, no drugs, no alcohol and are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions. The results are explosive. Equally, the reunion and homecoming after three months in the wilderness is both moving and profound.
The first two series were amongst the most talked about shows on British television. The stylistic blend of back story packages and observational documentary techniques secured critical and popular acclaim. Indeed, on its release internationally, this International Emmy winner became a core part of ABC’s 2005 Summer schedule in the USA.
The third, girls-only, Brat Camp series has aired on Channel 4. Sugar and spice and all things nice? Don’t bet on it.
Season four was Family Brat Camp, season five airs in 2007.
What they said about the last series .... 'The best thing on television right now is either a miserable Goth called Rachel or a dreadlocked little tantrum queen called Fran. They’re both in Brat Camp.'
The Guardian
'A near orgasmic experience’
The Spectator
