Eleanor Moran Joins Twenty Twenty

Twenty Twenty has hired BBC Drama Exec Producer Eleanor Moran. Moran has executive produced series New Tricks, Being Human, and Rome for the BBC, and has been the driving force behind a series of critically acclaimed single dramas including Enid and a forthcoming drama about Shirley Bassey.

Twenty Twenty CEO Tim Carter said: “These are exciting times for drama at Twenty Twenty, and Eleanor gives us another shot of adrenalin. She brings a wealth of knowledge, relationships, good judgement and taste.”

Moran’s appointment is part of Twenty Twenty’s strategy to invest in returning drama. She will join DOMINIC BARLOW, who over the past two years has helped build Twenty Twenty’s drama slate and has executive produced Garrow’s Law. The Shed-Media owned Indie now has a several series in paid development with UK broadcasters, and has recently consolidated its push into drama with a second series commission, to be announced shortly.

“I'm thrilled to be joining Twenty Twenty at a time when the company's drama profile is going from strength to strength. I hope I can help build on their successes, and ensure we're a force to be reckoned with,” said Moran.

Last year, Moran collaborated with Meredith Chambers, now Creative Director at Twenty Twenty on two ground-breaking dramas: Excluded, a fast turn-around piece for BBC2; and Frankenstein’s Wedding, a unique, award-winning, live drama for BBC3.

Meredith Chambers said: “Eleanor is a really exciting addition to the Twenty Twenty creative team.  She’s delivered across the board in drama from award winning singles to BBC3’s hit drama  – it’s quite an achievement.  I’ve been lucky enough to work with her on risky shows at the BBC  – and she was constantly driving the productions to be the best they could be while remaining charming and calm under pressure’.
