Our BBC 2 series The Choir won BAFTA awards in 2007 and 2009, in the Features category - while also winning 2009 Broadcast and Royal Television Society awards.
Other recent awards recognition includes – Help me love my Baby, 2007 Royal Television society award winner in the Documentary category. Brat Camp 2005 Emmy award winner, Broadcast award winner and BAFTA Nominee. That'll Teach 'Em , 2004 Indie Award winner and BAFTA nominee. Lads Army - 2003 Royal Television Society primetime features winner and BAFTA nominee.
Formed in 1982 by 'hands on' programme makers, Twenty Twenty Television has an industry-wide reputation for quality, intelligence and rigour. We specialize in factual programmes, and it is our experience in the genre that has helped us build an unrivalled company ethos.
Our work has been broadcast by networks around the world, including the BBC, CBBC, ITV, Channels 4 and Five in the UK, and ABC, The Discovery Channel, Turner Original Productions, Sundance Channel, CNN, The Arts and Entertainment Channel and WGBH in the USA.
Many of our formats have also been successfully produced in other countries - most notably The World’s Strictest Parents for CMTV - part of the MTV operation in the USA. Brat Camp for ABC in the US. The 2007 German version was called Teenager außer Kontrolle, and broadcast on RTL. That’ll Teach ‘Em was a big success in Europe, with M6 in France achieving an almost 30% audience share with their version.
We currently have exciting new work in development, production and post production. 2009 has gone well really well for the whole team, and are looking forward to 2010. Twenty Twenty productions will soon be grabbing audiences and more industry headlines.
